First established in 2002, the Big Apple Awards recognize excellence in the special events industry through a variety of awards. As a major force in the professional development of today’s special event practitioners, the ISES New York Chapter’s recognition efforts are directly linked to our mission of educating, advancing and promoting the industry and its network of professionals along with related industries.

By elevating best practices and increasing the visibility of professional achievement, ISES strives to honor excellence and encourages the highest standards of practice from the New York region. While many national event awards competitions exist, the Big Apple Awards specifically recognizes the best event work in the NY area.

Twin Chapter Program Fundraiser & Auction for the SEARCH Foundation
Crossing Channels: Next Stop London!   Top

The ISES NY Metro Twin Chapter Program Committee would like to invite you for an unforgettable night in London—sans jet lag!

Crossing Channels: Next Stop London is a collaborative effort of the “Twin Chapter” committees of both the ISES NY Metro Chapter and the ISES UK Chapter. The semi-simultaneous events will feature exciting digital connectivity linking members from each side of "The Pond." This unique program will be benefiting the SEARCH Foundation!

Come and bid on our silent auctions!

Join Twitter and follow us at NYM2UK at Event Hash Tag # NYC2UK

Both Chapters will use video and social networking outlets such as Twitter to turn two chapter events into one continuous experience. On the afternoon of the New York event, attendees will be emailed You Tube feeds from the live London event; live to tape segments from the London event will also be shown during the event highlighted by a video feed from the ISES UK event challenging the New York crowd to meet or beat the monies raised in London for SEARCH that evening!

As the fundraising torch is passed from London to New York, Michael Cerbelli, ISES NY Metro 20 Year Honoree, President of Special Events at Total Entertainment and Immediate Past-Chairman of the SEARCH Foundation, will take the microphone as Master of Ceremonies for this unique transatlantic industry event filled with entertainment from High Society Rhythm, the Screaming Queens and DJ Gatsby, cocktails and auctions!

Another unique element of technology will be featured at this event during the silent auction. Wireless keypad technology sponsored by IML Audience Response Systems will provide guests with a digital bidder card to use throughout the evening to both bid on auction items and make personal donations directly to the SEARCH Foundation. Auction items will be displayed throughout the evening on plasma screens sponsored by SNS Staging.

Join us on April 16, 2009 at Hudson Terrace to experience the trans-Atlantic excitement! Help ISES NY Metro to raise money for SEARCH, network with fellow New York industry members, and learn more about NY Metro’s “Twin Chapter” the ISES UK Chapter!

Sponsorship packages with strategic partner benefit levels are currently available. If you are interested in sponsoring an item, product or service, please contact Twin Chapter Program Chair, Christine Brower.
